A really tasty Greek vegan dish

  Method  

  1. Saute the onions 

  2. Add the paste 

  3. Add the garlic 

  4. Add the cabbage, the spice, the pickled cabbage and the hot peppers 

  5. Then add the tomato and the broth 

  6. Boil with the lid shut until the cabbage is almost soft 

  7. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius  

  8. Empty the contents of the pot into a pan and add the rice 

  9. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the rice is cooked 

  10. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before serving

  Ingredients  

1 kilo of cabbage

200gr rice

250 g pickled cabbage (optional)

2 onions (250 g)

1 tbsp tomato paste (30 g)

800 g tomato con case

6 allspice grains

150 ml water from pickled cucumbers

Salt

Pepper
