Crispy pork belly with baked butter beans

A very special roast dinner

  Method  

  Ingredients  

For the beans

- 500 g giant beans black 

- 3 peppers of different colors

- 2 carrots

- 1-2 onions (200 g)

- 2-3 garlic cloves

- 1 leek

- 500 g cherry tomatoes

- 1 tbsp tomato paste

- 1 bunch of parsley

- 1 tbsp oregano

- 100 ml olive oil

- 350 ml water

- 1 hot chili pepper (optional)

- salt, pepper  


For the pork belly  

- approx. 2 kg pork belly

- 400 ml water 

- 1 leek

- 2 carrots

- 2 stalks of celery

- 1 onion

- 2 bay leaves

- 1 tbsp. colored peppercorns

- 1 tbsp. cumin, unground

- Coarse salt
