A small, sweet creation ideal for coffee time
Method
Preheat the oven to 350°F 175°C
Grease an 18x25 cm or 20x20 cm pan with butter and set aside
Cut the apples into 6 and put them in water with a few lemon drops
In a medium bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla and set aside
Roll out the dough thinly and divide each piece into 3 triangles. Add about 1 teaspoon of the mixture to the larger side of the dough.
Place one or two apple pieces on the longer side of the dough.
Roll the dough around the apple like a croissant
Place in the pan
Repeat with the remaining apples
Cover the pasties evenly with the rest of the mixture
Pour the lemon-lime soda into the pan
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top
Let it cool for about 10-20 minutes
Pour over the syrup from the pan and serve with ice cream

2-3 apples
10 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1 ½ c. c. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
1 tbsp vanilla extract
3 sheets of puff pastry
¾ cup lemon-lime soda
Ice cream for serving
