Meatballs KEFTEDES with tomato sauce

Traditional Greek cooking

  Method  

  1. In a bowl, pour the minced meat, eggs, vinegar, bread soaked in water and set, onion, herbs and garlic.

  2. Knead until you get a fluffy mixture.

  3. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

  4. It can also stay overnight in the refrigerator.

  5. Take it out of the fridge, add the olive oil and knead again until incorporated and shape the meatballs.

  6. The continuation as in the video.

  Ingredients  

Ingredients without grillphilosophy seasonings

650 gr. ground beef

350 gr. minced pork

300 gr. stale bread

1 medium dry onion, finely diced

2 eggs

2 tbsp vinegar

2 tbsp mint

2 tbsp parsley

4 cloves of garlic

80 ml olive oil


Grillphilosophy seasoned ingredients

650 g minced beef

350 g minced pork

1 egg yolk

120 gr. Grill Philosophy blend

for burgers

150 gr. onion puree

140 ml ice cold water

35 ml FEDERATIONS sunflower oil

300 gr. stale bread

2 tbsp mint

2 tbsp parsley

4 cloves garlic mashed

Sunflower oil for frying

For the sauce:

420 gr. tomato on the grater (Federation)

½ tsp tomato paste (Federation)

Salt and pepper as needed

2 tbsp oregano

40 ml olive oil
