Tarts filled with a chilled vanilla sauce

Quickly prepared with a few ingredients that we have in the fridge and a packet of puff pastry

  Method  

  1. Preheat the oven at 200° C on the resistances

  2. In 50 ml of milk add sugar and corn flour, 2 yolks, vanilla and zest and mix

  3. Boil the rest of the milk and add the ingredients you mixed

  4. Boil for 3 minutes while stirring and remove from heat

  5. Lay the puff pastry on a floured surface and sprinkle a little flour on top

  6. Press it a little with the rolling pin and cut it into 7.5 cm disks

  7. Butter and place the buttered side down in the muffin tin and press down to sit well

  8. Fill with a tablespoon of the cream

  9. Bake for about 20 minutes

  10. Sprinkle with icing sugar

  Ingredients  

500 ml of milk

70 g of sugar

2 egg yolks

1 tbsp vanilla paste

37 g of corn flour

Zest of 1 lemon

1 sheet of puff pastry

a little icing sugar

a little butter
